Maybe in the US.. But in Canada if wages don't somehow outpace rate of inflation over the next few years people will begin defaulting on mortgages, this can also happen faster if too many people don't have a fixed mortgage rate and housing market crashes

The US labour participation rate is at a 40 years low. So long as the US sheds blue collar (boomer) workers, and doesn't have any workers to replace them, wages will continue to grow. If peoples efforts to get men back in the world are successful, this will reverse.
