"Penchant for polarization." "trying to shutter disciplines he didn’t agree with" - it's almost literally (& I know what that word means) nauseous. The writer doesn't understand what you say at all, & then hates you for it. Been there. And it's frustrating. I'm sorry, Dr. P.
Informing students about postmodernism and its horrors is certainly not the same as "shuttering" disciplines... I'm hoping an informed market will take them out.
