Every city must have a diverse set of architectural styles. One neighborhood ought to have nothing but mud huts, while another must only have igloos. We must incorporate everyone’s culture in modern day North America! We must be inclusive!

I wish they were more Eurocentric.

"Eurocentric" is a euphemism for everything that comprises Western civilization and culture. The attempt to "diversify" the curriculum is actually an attempt to erase anything which resists the implementation of Marxist doctrines.

This is a Maoist Cultural Revolution which seeks to create the "new man" through social engineering. All power is being centralized under the state and away from the people in order to maximize the ability to coerce others into accepting the "transformation" being forced on all.

Yes, the content is eurocentric, because Canada is a predominantly white culture, and was largely established by Europeans (we speak English and French). A great heritage. This 'diversity' ideology is despicably racist, against white and non-white alike.

I don't know. I'm still trying to figure out why I can't say 'the Orient' and 'Oriental' anymore. I always saw some kind of dignity conferred in those words. I mean, everyone knows what happens in the East. Every morning. eos

For example, not learning world history until much later-- in my education, we learned about UK, Canada, France, Quebec, some American history and the World Wars. World history was optional in high school; so most kids learned nothing about: Africa, China, even Soviet Union, etc.

I don't know precisely what is in the curriculum today, but students should definitely be taught world history from a young age, especially now as the world keeps getting smaller and smaller
