It's always pick one side or the other when both side are just as bad. Be a free agent. I have voted for all parties. Usually after a party has been in for too long and becomes stale or feeling invincible and passing bills just to pass something.

Personally I think Trump largely lacks principles besides what serves him best (in his opinion). He shoots himself in the foot quite a bit by responding too quickly to things, often Petty things.
