IVF for older women costs a fortune and lead to heartbreak when the procedures are unsuccessful. I hear of a VERY high failure rate.

There are few things more horrible than a decade waiting for an IVF baby that never comes. Things you learn at 40.

Dr. Peterson, would you say the same to men? I ask because IMHO, career is not primary for anybody. FAMILY is. What say you?

We all have a symphony of needs to meet—family, career, friendship, others. It's not just one thing to be fulfilled. And not either/or.

I thought I had to find career first and make it primary and then maybe settle down. As soon as I realized I could put family first, I did!

Women are not fed such lies. It's our choice to put career above all else or not to. Men & women are told the best gift in life is a child.
-
Women most certainly are fed the lies of career first. I'm half way through my career and I remember the lies from grade 9 high school.

I imagine there are lots on people that think that. They probably regret not working more when they were younger, so when they're older and working instead of enjoying the retired life there's a lot of regret.
-
Most likely just wish they never blew their money on useless things.
