For people with ADHD giving more time is the most terrible thing you can do. It makes finishing the job even more difficult.

I have ADHD, but I never went in to get extra time on my exams because I always tried to take them first and found I had enough.
-
But, I also had many classes where there were no time limits to the exams. You either knew the material, or you didn't.

I don't think extra time is even all that helpful. Either you know the answers or you don't, more time just means more second guessing.
-
For me I struggle to finish any kind of test because I'm dyslexic and read at roughly 1/3 of the average rate.

IMO if you're doing a class that is meant to prepare you for a "hands on" job, you should be tested with a practical project, not written.

I needed extra time because my Cerebral Palsy means I'm a slow writer.
-
Yeah, in such cases it is needed! Maybe for issues such anxiety, depression and ADHD which are over or misdiagnosed, no

My son tested at 143... With Dyslexia.... Bruce is a moron
-
Exactly. I think the argument should be less about not having extra time and more about what should warrant extra time.
