The guys you enumerate are all meaningful, but what about Alan's female assistant Joan Clarke, Ada Lovelace, Edith Clarke, Women of ENIAC,

Grace Hopper, Susan Kare, Radia Perlman. There are plenty more. The difference between male and female figures in this field is the

attention and fame their get. This might have been for their male colleagues probably easier.
