Dr. Saifedean Ammous (@saifedean) joins me on my latest podcast.
He is an expert on Bitcoin with a PhD from Columbia University. We discussed decentralization, different schools of economics, the Fiat vs. Bitcoin standards, and much more.pic.twitter.com/rbIbjGnhVb

I didn’t understand how Bitcoin can change the energy supply so you do not need wires. I understand that it can turn energy into money, but what if I am in the desert and need power? Wouldn’t I still need a wire?

Invite Satoshi aka Craig Wright if you want to learn about Bitcoin. BTC is not Bitcoin.

Great talk. I am a fan of yours Dr Peterson, but I am slightly disappointed at some of the comments on climate change. It is possible to understand opportunity cost and complex problems and still find solutions that can slow warming with low chance of bad unintended consequence.

I also find Dr Ammous' claim that Bitcoin cannot be manipulated and every other cryptocurrency can to be misleading. I believe a more sophisticated understanding of Hayek's ideas on the denationalisation of money leads to the conclusion of multiple free market money options.

Any thoughts on the Pareto distribution with relation to fiat and a bitcoin standard?
