How do they measure and confirm this temperature rise?
Normally, when one speaks of temperature, there's even a difference in temperature in the shade and in the Sun, on the same street at the same time. -
Meteorologic stations are built to strict standards and have uniform instructions for proper location siting (no shade, no obstructions overhead, etc.) readings from these stations are taken throughout the day, and this has been going on for over 100 years now.
