What exactly is the convergence of criticality? I’ve learned basic nuclear in chemistry, but it’s all been a long time, and I don’t think we got to that one just yet;)

I think he’s making a satirical reference to the thermodynamic law of entropy and how it causes anxiety in nuclear engineers.

Not quite the thermodynamic entropy, although they are conceptually equivalent, but rather information entropy (or Shannon). Comment is a joke. Convergence always causes anxiety to any soul who dares to simulate something. I'm a nuclear engineer btw

Entropy goes deeper than I think is often realized. Physicists often treat it as something that comes out of a physicalist world, but as far as I’m concerned it goes beyond just a property on top of atoms/your favorite entangled system.
