Very sensible indeed. I recall pretty clearly the stress and the effect on my marriage. I never regretted for one second being a dad.

Life is a circle jerk, the more people’s opinions you listen to, the less intimacy you have with yourself. Take a step way back, get some quiet and listen to yourself.

People have had children from the beginning of time (w/o limiting the number) and have survived. Are we so arrogant now that we ‘decide’ on this? Traditional cultures are ultimately happier. I hope this is the conclusion

Amen. Also. The dividends are sometimes delayed. When you are old and your kids have grandkids. Truly incalculable. Someone in their 40s likely can’t comprehend.
