The thinkers Foucault describes were not discussing "snakes" but the category "serpent" which includes what we "see" as snakes. The intermingling of the psyche and "the object." Which science separates, partially. Leaving us more in the dark about psyche.pic.twitter.com/3HuejTIi0q

What do you think about the theory of levels of awareness as a model for psychology and cognitive action? The principle of a higher level of awareness determining the quality of conscious thoughts.

A particular aspect is: the frequency of levels of awareness. Where a higher level of awareness can lead to a better psyche but only at high frequencies. This, separating high conscious activity in children in situations of stress and the general conscious activity of adults.

What? Can you find a less asinine and reflexive critique? Foucault doesn't speak of the difficulty of categorisation, he talks of the historicity of categorisation. Your preferences in philosophy are irrelevant to the matter.
