I dunno what it means either but it really is making me want to fight a crusade for the God-King.

If you set goals and it gives you predicted outcome you get hope/pleasure and if you get unpredicted outcome(includes anxiety) you have to try to set new goals but if you deviate from setting goals(disintegration and anomalous) you get into chaos with no meaning in life.

The efficacy of ideas need to stand the test of time. Perhaps it would be wiser to revisit this in 30 years and see if they truly are “utter rubbish”

We're 22 years since publication and at least in part dates back to the 1980s. No doubt "Maps of Meaning" has by now become the definitive set of ideas on Dr Peterson's subjects. Oh.
