From the article (for those who won't actually read it): "But reducing carbon emissions is still needed in order to sustain the habitability of our planet.”

"Look over there, across the ocean between Goliath continents” Is not the answer to why we ‘civilized’ this Amazon, the Western Hemisphere with deforestation and a gun in the face. That’s nice for China and India and the world, what about people dispossessed of forest right here?

It's actually the opposite ... Current policies actively encourage deforestation. Plus replacing old growth dense forest with new growth ain't the same. Don't believe everything you see on satellite

scientist are humans too and they might selfishly or blindly want funding for their job so that they can survive, this is why I love folks that actually have some virtue to them such as Lex Fridman and Andrew Huberman.

Ironic since many 'global warming alarmists' live in cities, which cities themselves mess with weather patterns. Easier to shift blame on others rather than looking at oneself? https://time.com/5655074/concrete-urban-heat/#:~:text=When%20temperatures%20rise,%20the%20countless%20miles%20of%20concrete,as%2022%C2%B0F,%20according%20to%20the%20Environmental%20Protection%20Agency ….

Climate change models are the only models I’ve ever seen where an exponentially growing input (human population) produces a linear output (CO2 levels). My theory...trees and forests would be the actual input growing linearly during this last 50 years. Not people.

I absolutely love your courage
@jordanbpeterson - you still believe in facts - you sir need a religion that allows you to use sharpies and make crafts - consensus replaced facts long agoThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I'd have to question out of the blue the exact plant species they planted as being as beneficial as the stuff in the Amazon. "Medicine Man" with Sean Connery was a -terrible- movie but a somewhat decent premise at the time, that we're losing species hand over fist down there.
