It's all fun and games until people realize that those electric cars from the "refined" European people are fed with with coal, before they're fed with electricity. Their goal is precisely chaos, for those who are dispersed cannot organize to resist.

Nuclear is likely a non/low carbon solution that's likely part of any future solution.

When the forced alternatives such as wind and solar inevitably fail nuclear will be the most attractive option.

The largest problem with this transition is that 60% of a barrel of oil is used to make every day items that people have deemed items they can't live without. Making the cost of living unsustainable, especially in colder climates, will be one of the by products.

Fortunate to live on a continent with abundant/diverse natural resources-Unlucky to be led by people who prevent development & chastise those who try...for our own good of course. Renewables dominance is inevitable but new/efficient tech cannot just be summoned...even by the woke

A move away from fossil fuels would eliminate our ability to produce windmills, mine for metals used in batteries, and eliminate many industries - and ultimately a lot of human lives

Yeah but i mean obviously that isnt going to happen. No one except the alt left actually think 100% renewable energy for everything, including industry, is actually feasible anytime soon. Depending on your country though, 100% (or close to) renewable is possible for residential.
