The second most basic fundamental assumption of the postmodernist types is that all categorization is based on will to power. The most fundamental assumption (eg axiom of faith) is that the process of categorization itself is based on will to power.

It's short form for: the will to garner power. Or in otherwords, postmodernism assumes that the primary motive for peoples actions, and categorisation, is a hierarchical power game. Because they don't believe in objective shared reality.

Isn't that a classical leftist approach? I mean the left is traditionally founded upon the concept of class struggle right? It seems to me that postmodernism is just another tool to find new struggles between ourselves. Am I talking nonsense here?
