You don't get it, do you man! The problem is social networks, where every mis-step gets reshared until it reaches cataclysm. Every mistake, every mis-spoken word results with waves of resharing and misunderstanding, like a broken telephone.

Thats the root cause, the main problem, the rest are solutions that try to paper over it with some form of authoritarianism or something else. It doesn't work, because the solution is severe skepticism and mistrust of social media: treat it like a tabloid.
