Yeah, if it is real why would insurance companies insure, or banks give loans?

The insurance markets have contracted and hardened tremendously in coastal areas. Fewer insurers, higher premiums, higher deductibles. The banks don’t care as much because if you can’t pay, they believe the insurers or reinsurers will make them whole.
