It’s like they discovered that some publicly educated students were accidentally getting a great education and intentionally closed that loophole.

We don’t cure disease or get to Mars based on the talents of the remedial math class. And in the case of NY, on the talents of any future public school graduates.

Imagine if there was an up and coming power in the world and they wanted to destroy the USA without firing a shot. What might a patient adversary do to destroy the USA from within?

One of the greatest long term consequences of the currently cultural madness, is that we are driving the brightest and most competent individuals out of public life and areas of greatest impact and influence. The quality of everything is about to plummet.

The problem with society today is unearned knowledge. Only about 12 people per generation invent or discover something worthwhile and the rest of us ride the wave. Ask yourself, what have you contributed? Me, nothing. I nail boards together. I’m a carpenter.
