One crisis at a time? Perhaps we can start by not calling the treatments currently available vaccines as they do not provide robust and lasting immunity. That change alone may go along way to correcting what is currently misguided policy.

Yes, even if things go to plan (vaccines work, covid over) the fabric of our society has been irreparably damaged. If they dont go well (vaccines dont work, have long term effects, massive debt causes economic depression) things might get a wee bit grim

The most worrying part is what was presented to be “transitory” (exceptional suspension of rights) measures are now becoming persistent with the risk of them becoming permanent.

I live in Victoria, and the government has completely screwed us. Vaccines are mandatory for almost every work industry, gyms, restaurants, everything. These lockdowns have taken our lives away and are still going. Even at 80% double dose we can only have 10 people in our house.
