Agreed. Look at the met gala or recent emmys. One set of rule for the affluent, another set for the plebs. That is why I am often surprised with your faith in our institutions; they too support this.

the system is designed for there to be super rich folks. something like a religion would have to gain more predominance for a different way of life to be. we see this trying to occur with early Christianity. if only the zealots had more virtue and vision!

It's because the elite are rarely reminded that they bleed and feel pain like blue-collar folk. They're also not held accountable like we are when it comes to breaking laws. Sometimes, the only way to relate to those less fortunate than you is to be put into their predicament.

not only are they opinionated about them, they send thier livelihoods to china.
