Makes me think of Path of Exile's critical hit system. You have a base critical hit chance of (usually) 5%. Then you get equipment and talents that augment this 5% by seemingly huge numbers like 50 and 100%. But it's always in relation to the base 5%. Confusing at first.

I really enjoy reading the replies to these tweets because it's like, whenever Dr. Peterson tweets something, people immediately assume he is siding with it, when he is really just encouraging discussion about it. So many people get upset about posts that don't fit their bias.

The assumption is that, if a public figure posts an infographic without challenging commentary, they tacitly support the information. I'm glad JP offered this correction, but look at the original posts engagement vs this. It's irresponsible and deliberate.

That Reuters article offers a very concise explanation of the lie being presented. Thanks for sharing it.

Dear Sir Peterson, would you consider what’s happening around the world as a mass formation in terms of psychology? I’ve recently watched Mattias Desmet’s interview and his explanation about the narrative and it was impressive. Video;https://youtu.be/Qj5bo_KFqgo
