My only issue is, maybe we are seeing men be more assertive in this. Many more see that “collagen is the only answer regardless of outcome” is a bad path and are more willing to bet on themselves/take alternate routes?

why not attribute this to women being more capable (as you do when men are favoured) and look for other reasons?

Coming from a small/medium-sized town in Canada, my high school didn't even attempt to explain the process of enrolling in university -- never mind explaining the frightening costs associated with it. I have a feeling that's a big reason why.

Because men say fuck high school, drop out and pick up a labour job to make six figures. Meanwhile women pick up a degree and make 50,000 a year as a secretary.
