There's a difference between opposition to mandates in these particular set of cases and opposition to mandates in principle. The former I can understand, the latter I really don't. Do you?

Jordan Peterson continually the voice of reason, and a much needed one in these incredibly irrational times.

How is this the voice of reason? Science shows us that for vaccines to be effective, the whole population needs to get them, otherwise there is a lack of herd immunity for those medically unable to get the vax, there's risk of mutation and breakthrough cases. This is dumb.

The mandate is for a vaccine. The vaccine is statistically far less dangerous than the virus, both short term and long term. Therefore, a mandate cannot pose more threat than the virus. If anything, it poses less threat.

Mandates are a threat. They lead inevitably to flagrant flaunting of basic conformity-based law. It builds a rebellious, chaotic attitude in the public, eventually rendering normal order impossible.
