For people studying psychology today, which subfields could you still recommend?

It's not about so much about the field or subfield rather than how and why the information is gathered and used. If you're looking for a field with the higher replication rate, look for cognitive psychology and its neighbours. Ergonomics. Neurosciences and so on.
