I'm 58 yrs old, and knew the 70s were a STRAAAANGE, trippy, avocado-orange sort of Hell even when I was in the middle of it. But the 70s were a paradise compared to now. Young people seem to have no idea what's been lost. It's terrifying. And very, very sad.

I was a child in the 70s, and they're the reason I have known all my life that the trajectory our civilisation is on can only be one of total annihilation. We're doing it wrong on such a fundamental level that the only thing anyone can hope to do is get clear and try to survive.
