Hey sir, do you consider that the indulgence on social media, specially Instagram, Twitter and YouTube which consume most time of the day, and pandemic increased that even more, has changed the social sexual dynamics which would have been absolutely true if it was 2009 or before?

It sounds like he thinks human do things just to appear sexually attractive
. I’m sure there are people who also do their work well (and get promoted as a result) because they truly want to contribute to society with what they do, not to be seen as sexually attractive -
For men a good career confers increased sexual attractiveness to most women and they’re acutely aware of it. It’s part of the motivation for most men and, I suspect, quite a large part.

If you are going to make the considerable investment of trying to build a home with someone, you want to build it with a partner who you know is going to stay by your side. If you don’t KNOW that, then you are a fool to even attempt it.

Women compete for "male status" because w/o it, the merit of hard work may not speak for itself, so it's necessary for protection and respect. But this pursuit can be defeating as it can feel like a never-ending fight, even w/ status, thus bailing seems the sensible thing to do.
