Yes. Specifically given the universe itself is the only know "computer" with known precision to accurately calculate odds/outcomes. --> Three body problem --> Chaos theory. Theoretically sound but impractical. i.e. the Isaac Asimov/foundation ---> psychohistory is fiction.

Possibly yes. But there are assumptions already being made as many of the variables are unknown. Such as how many instances of "Darwinism" have executed elsewhere and failed. Until we have that information, all we have are knowledgeable assumptions do we not?

You should read Meyer’s work. You seem to be appealing to faith, for scientific materialism. Meyer refers to: Inference to the best explanation, or sometimes called the method of multiple competing hypotheses. Darwin used these methodologies. Check out: Signature in the Cell

its certainly a bombshell. but the principle of evolution being applicable on higher scales than just genetic variation is not that outrageous if you think about it.
