But that process is driven by (human) intelligence. And language seems to be an innate human capacity (Chomsky). It's not assembled from Ground Zero.

Well I'd highly recommend reading about dissipative systems and chemical evolution basically chemical systems were pushed toward being more complex with the least amount of material possible, which probably gave rise to proteins with distinct domains, still to this date
