It is an experiment in digital currency. However its value depends on scarcity not fundamentals. Some claim it is digital gold but that is completely unsubstantiated. Fair to say, it is a disruptor for the way we view money.

At least with gold you can melt it down and turn it into something else of value so it can maintain a reasonable price.

Bitcoin is nothing more than well "pumped" tech thing. As a "money" is useless: - costs of use are much higher than in wires/visa - it is much slower than banks/visa payments - IT IS trackable...not easy but IS It really has NO real advantage for average user than money.

Value investing. People lose sight to what value is. They think it will replace the $ and or paper currency but base it's value on paper currency. Makes zero sense at this point other than to follow the cult of disillusionment and pretend you're rooting for whatever the theme is

The only thing central banks are good at is convincing people that they are necessary to solve problems they themselves have created. Before central banks deflation (things getting cheaper) was a good thing and allowed all to experience the benefits of innovation and automation.
