I wonder why it not "The End of Western Universities". Which seems more accurate.

More pronouns, fewer universities.

Civilization is stalling out on the steep grade of nature and there were never any brakes. These early tears, shrieks and desperate confusion are as appropriate as they are useless. One might call it a postmodern tragedy, except the vehicle actually means something—everything.
