Everybody’s ancestors either were slaves or slavers at one point in history. Why people bemoan the past now is beyond me.

And how can we make it right? Is an apology enough?(but coming from someone not at fault it seems baseless and empty) money? (But what amount of money undoes injustice) I don't see how anything can be done about it now other than learning from the mistakes of the past.
