When I was in uni I specialized in baroque music. During my 2nd year the professors decided it was feminism year and we were only allowed singing music from female composers. Honestly it sucked a lot of the fun out of music for me and cost me a lot of $$$.

I feel this. I was in University of North Texas’ music program and heard a teacher say someone’s original piece was “poorly written”. This doesn’t exist. After a vocal teacher told me to use “less breath” I quit and joined a band.
