I always ask ppl (because I know it is true for me) if they thought they were smarter/wiser at 18 then they were at 10. Were they smarter/wiser at 25 then they were at 18 35 over 25 etc. I know of zero that this isn't true for.

I'm not even gonna hold you Doc if you are speaking about hormone therapy I will never side with it, in regards to children. Grow ups can do as they please. If you're referring to "talk" therapy I believe in counseling because there is def something mentally or emotionally wrong.
