The word “accidents” here implies some divine intention and subsequent failure. Sometimes things just happen and it’s not an accident and it’s not intentional. Is there a better word for it?

Maybe the accidental circumstances are a fundamental property of the universe. Whats scary is that we can only grasp a fraction of that to our conscience, and we make decisions with, in fact, so little base in comparison.
