it's not that straight forward. Depends really what you are doing and what your process is. If you are enjoying yourself, 3 hours, a little pause another 2 hours is nothing. If you are switching between projects it's even easier. And if you feel like you have something to say..

I have been an artist for over 20 years now... I have found that three hours is the perfect time to stop painting. I find that I start making mistakes or getting sloppy. So I concur!

I thought there was something wrong with me for not being able to put in more than 3 hrs a day into my videography, work that I LOVE. And unable to even hop on to edit for weeks sometimes, following a couple days of 5+ hrs work. Feeling so relieved to hear this.

That's True. I am a brasilizian engineer. I studied in a very hard school. We used to have 5 or even 8 hours of tests. In the end of the process, we usually were totally disconnected. This shows how intense were the tests. It tooks, hours to go back.
