Who are you? And, more importantly, who could you be, if you were everything you could conceivably be?
I loved this chapter. Finding who I am is a complex, twisted, scary, joyful and hopefully even healing journey.
I prefer to look operationally at what I do, could do, or want to do, rather than existentially at what I believe I am, could be or want to be.
Further, I think much of the conflict and polarization we see today results from people evaluating what they believe others "are" or "are not" rather than what others do in context.
I've been trying to figure that out for a long, miserable time.

I thought I really knew who I was at 25. Now, at 45, I realize I know almost nothing. I am better now than then across every metric. Still have some core nihilism that remains unassailable.
No one can be everything, so he or she must wisely choose what they could be and what they should be. That we have limited options and times supports the process of becoming an individual, a unique and whole personality. Choose wisely.
