I am not JP, but if I may add my two cents: be there for your family and do not underestimate anything you do for them. Providing for them & being in their life, may not be overly exciting to some outsider but is giving a foundation to them on which they can grow and build

I wish I had your advice when I was in my 20’s. I would add, make a plan and don’t be afraid to fail. Take on jobs you think you can’t do and see if you can do them. Allow failure to teach you and get better from it.
