Not making a choice is also making a choice, whatever you do (or dont) it is a choice with consequences. Not choosing is choosing not to make a choice but its still a choice right?

This reminds me of the recent Michael Malice discussion on cynicism! You did a great job staying in your role during that interview! And to his credit, so did Michael, even though I had firm disagreements with some of his views

The 'no-decision' is not good, but all so comforting for some of us. I believe 'the pill' assisted me strongly, almost into 'apathy'. But you also know the 'security-syndrome' holds people back, people who aren't stuck on meds.

The fact is that for many people choosing one path is not a simple matter. The sense of loss this entails may not be felt by some types, but too overwhelming for others. It’s more complex, otherwise this is what everyone would do instinctively.
