As a Catholic who has read the lives of many Saints, one of the qualities they all had in common was that they were too humble to ever know they were Saints while they were alive. Though he's not Catholic, Dr Peterson fits that mould.

Saints means believers, sir. In other words, I am a saint simply because I am a BELIEVER of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of the Living God.
