Auditory processing is even more cool to me. How do we perceive movement of air particles as meaningful communication, especially across dialects and different fundamental frequencies when we compare children to adult voices.

The brain removes shadows from our vision? How is that possible? Does it instead overlay the same image from memory but from a moment where there wasn't a shadow? Because our eyes can't physically do that, remove shadows. Where does it get the image from if it's a new experience?
