I hate mosquitoes. Kill them all. Arguably mankind's greatest enemy. Disease bearing hypodermics.https://twitter.com/HumanProgress/status/1398851665361526786 …

Scientists hope that releasing genetically modified mosquitoes into the wild can stop insects from breeding and reduce their populations. Reduced populations lower the probability that they will spread deadly diseases. https://www.humanprogress.org/opponents-of-genetically-modified-mosquitos-would-let-the-poor-die/ …

I prefer the nuclear option, but GMO should work too.

Take it with a grain of salt but I remember reading in highschool that Skeeters have almost no nutritional value (for frogs n other bugs) and aren't a big part of the food chain

Species die everyday. People talk about unintended consequences of taking out a species. I'd happily accept the unintended consequences of killing all of those little bastards

No they are just fodder. No special place in food chain. Besides nature will always find a balance. There is no true one equilibrium. 99% of all species have gone extinct and 🌍 is still a beautiful place. (Except humans trashing it)
