I mean.. Maybe I don't grasp the nuance but, how can I be diverse? I have a set of opinions, beliefs, i can't hold two at once?

For complex things we can when we haven't sorted out the nuance yet. However this is simply about how individuals can be diverse from one another. Same as groups are diverse from one another

I definitely expected - "diversity" is a doublespeak. It means that you can be of any heritage, but should follow same ideology.
