Isn’t emotional intelligence a more useful term when assessing whether someone will be an asshole to work with or not?

Parsing it out within big five is tough though. There are elements of so called EI in each trait and this is indicative of psychometric being relatively early stage

Doesn't emotional intelligence refer to acquired skills and learned behaviour, to some extent? That would make it a misnomer.

Tested IQ will fluctuate based on how much you use your brain to learn. It is like a muscle, getting stronger when challenged. IQ is not static, but it has differing upper limits for each person. In that sense, EQ is no different, you can get better at reading people.
