Totally agreed. I often think we have more power over our lives than we think but that requires us to open our horizons and take responsibility. Responsibility is both terrifying and liberating. Above all else, it is necessary.

This is true. For example, it is entirely irrational to have kids in the US. Doing so is economic devastation. If people recognized this and other realities they would make different decisions.
