Because if you keep trying to be an AntiChrist Jordan you will succeed. Don’t try to convince people your Jesus if you hate Jesus. God wants us to obey him. Walking like Jesus not claiming to be his second coming. Only Jesus can do that. We are not men like we think we is.

What do you think of the Orthodox practice of husband and wife not making vows to one another, but to God? Do you think that there's anything substantially different about it?

A much needed statement in this confused day and age. I also like the Christian notion of two imperfect people coming together and growing together. If neither is expected to be perfect, it is easier to forgive, easier to perhaps change one's bad habits and work things out.

Where can I find a citation for "those who live together before marriage face the same risk"? I was very surprised reading that!
