For individuals, it's always easier to make demands on oneself than demanding others to change. There is agenda behind this theory and it's not for any individual's benefit. People who buy into it need to think deeper and discern better.

Well when there is a history of marginalization of people belonging to groups than there needs to be some mechanism where for a plausible amount of time they are given benefits. But again for limited time only

That would be good if a) it worked and b) it is actually time limited. You can (maybe) dispute a). However for b) as with every advantage, people want to keep them. This combined with how hard it is to tell if they did anything, sees them extended basically forever.

@jordanbpeterson I despise the formation of protected classes for the simple fact that groups demand power not freedom. But, white men will have to protect their son’s and grandson’s rights with legislation if they are to survive. I don’t like it but this is our reality. -
