Probably an unpopular opinion, but how long until over-population becomes a real issue if we get rid of every life threatening diseases? I know saving lives is the right thing to do, but will that fuel our downfall in the long-run?

I think most populations stabilize. Even in the US people are having kids at less and less rates.
