Well, I think the big issue is that many people don't want to think that deeply and carefully about how they view Christ, God and their faith in general. To have faith and to understand ones faith is completely a personal matter that can only be gotten through contemplation.

have you tried? Practice makes perfect. Try not to see the temporary human before you. Imagine this persons past, the happy moments, the sad moments, that's when you realize you have a human being in front of you that shares the same struggle and happiness. :)
