We have a superabundance of spectacular needs. The basic needs for dignified living are lacking for majority of the world

What are “basic needs” from your point of view?

I fear there will be more nihilism (if possible) and stagnation resulting in a collapse. There is a need to justly create scarcity or at least purpose for the resources generated. The best move is space, infinite space for infinite goals to push mankind further

Sounds basically impossible. Human desire will always be larger than material abundance. The only way to curb population growth to permit superabundance is some kind of malthusian technocratic intervention like mandatory birth control. With that you're conceding the point.

If you limit you scale to certain countries, I suppose superabundance dominates and creates a lot of problem. While in others it doesn't and also creates problems.
